Cowbird is a XAML browser application that combines features from both: web applications and rich-client applications. Like web applications, it is deployed to a Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) and started from Internet Explorer (IE). And Like rich-client applications it has the ability to leverage client resources.

Cowbird can practically run on any computer running Microsoft Windows. It's minimum requirements are such, that organizations don't need to make additional investments on new equipment to make it accesible to all staff members.

The following is a concise list of the minimum requirements to run Cowbird in your company:
